Too Faced Born This Way | Review

Hey guys!! First of all I want to apologize for basically abandoning the blog, but I have been having a lot to deal with and I didn't really feel like blogging, or shopping, or anything for that matter beside staying at home watching re-runs of my favorite cartoons ^^ So yeah...let's get on with the review.

After hearing a lot of good stuff about Too Faced's Born This Way foundation, I wanted to get a tester to try it. (A little side note: I always get a tester of a foundation I want to buy to make sure I don't waste my money on something I won't use)

So last week I was in the mall with a friend and I saw that they opened a Sephora there and I was like: YAY I don't have to go to the other Sephora to buy a beautyblender. So I go in, get myself a beauty blender and decide to have a look around of what's new. I saw that they had the foundation in stock, got matched and asked for a tester.

After a couple of days of completely neglecting wearing any make up whatsoever, today I finally decided to try it since I was going to a Make Up Forever event, which was so unprofessional and a complete fail from their side btw....

As usual I washed and moisturized my face and after that I put the Catrice Prime And Fine Pore Refining Anti-Shine Primer. I decided to apply the foundation with a brush and after that blend it even more with the beautyblender. Knowing that the foundation is medium to full coverage, I put a very small amount on my face and after that started blending it with a stippling brush. After I blended it, surprisingly it looked like a mask, after hearing how natural it looks I was like: WTH. So I used a damp beautyblender to take a little bit of the foundation away and make it look a little bit more natural. I kind of succeeded, but it still didn't look as natural as beauty gurus said it is...

I set it with my Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Translucent Powder and went out...I kid you not, I randomly touched my face and saw foundation on my hand...It transfers like crazy!!!! Today wasn't much of a hot day it was around 16-17 degrees Celsius and it was windy, so I wouldn't expect to be sweating...A good sign that my skin doesn't like a certain foundation is that my face starts to sweat like CRAZY..So I blotted and saved the situation for a while.

After about 5 hours of being at a 4 hour event for 45 minutes and spending the rest at Starbucks with my friend and walking a bit, there was barely any foundation left on my skin..I was a little bit disappointed and glad that I didn't purchase it and only got a tester..I am going to give it a second chance and see if it performs better(I hope it does, cuz I really like how it makes my skin look and feel)

So I forgot to mention, I am shade Natural Beige, which blends in perfectly with my skin and also the foundation has really beautiful finish it's kind of matte, but not really, it's glowy in all the right places :D . I am going to insert a few pictures of the foundation down below.

Sorry for the long post! Here's a glitter potato :D
